Tonight we spent our "time together" organizing our stuff. It is much easier to organize things before the movers come than have to worry about them packing things you don't want them packing.
There are two shipments......1- Household Goods(takes about 2 months) & 2- Express (takes about a month). Hopefully we'll receive all of it before the baby arrives.
Typically all furniture leaves first and gets there last and you save clothes and kitchen items for the express shipment and they hopefully arrive before or shortly after we do.
We are fortunate this move that we are going home to a completely furnished house so what we receive and when isn't THAT important besides that I do not want to be unpacking boxes RIGHT before a baby arrives or after (which would really NOT be fun)!

We were fortunate enough to sell some of our furniture here. Our bedroom set being one of them. Colby took the bed apart tonight so we'll be sleeping on the mattress and box spring tonight on the floor, but they will go with the shipment tomorrow (we didn't sell those).

Colby moving electronics onto our government (borrowed) shelves. This will be our TV until our express shipment leaves at the end of the month. Our big TV will leave tomorrow. All curtains came down tonight too!
We are suddenly reminding of how awesome our cinder block walls are!!
Someday Baby O'Quin will know he or she was there for the move from Okinawa to home.

It is midnight...so time for bed!
